What is the resolution center?

The resolution center is the way Dock Skipper handles any and all disputes made on short term bookings where Dock Skipper handles the payment.  It is not applicable to long term bookings since payment is handled outside of Dock Skipper.  If the listing was not as described, the guests were damaging to the property, or a natural disaster caused the guests not to be able to check-in to the listing, it should all be handled through the resolution center.

If you experience an issue with a booking, go to either the account menu Booking Requests (if you are a host) or the account menu My Trips if you are a guest.  Once the arrival date has passed, you will see a new action allowing you to Report A Problem.  Follow that link to open up a dispute on the booking as soon as the problem occurs.

Once a dispute is opened, any transfers including refunds to the guest or transfers to the host will be frozen until the dispute is resolved.  During the resolution process, Dock Skipper will collect information from both parties and after careful evaluation will have the final say in all resolution matters.
