We live here year round. Someone is always in the house. There is always active security on the property. The Lighthouse Point police are just across the water where they dock their boat. The island is also protected because there is only one way in and one way out by car. Our local police are located minutes from the property. In addition, we are minutes to the functioning lighthouse located on the Atlantic Ocean side. The main bridge at the Hillsboro Inlet opens every 15 minutes. From our dock you we can see the lighthouse.
