If you are driving to this marina, there is a security gate with a guard shack 24/7. There is a grocery store, drug store and other small businesses close enough to walk to. This is a very protected marina that fared very well in recent storm activity, and no fixed bridges to get here via boat. This slip is a 55×19 foot slip, allows a 50 foot boat overall length (tip to tip including outboard motor or swim platform to bowsprit). There is also open free parking, pump out station or service that comes to you, fuel station, waste/recycle bins on the dock, picnic tables with charcoal grills, pedestal electric hook up for your boat and a car wash station. To take full advantage of the marinas other amenities like the swimming pools, marina restaurant and pickleball courts there is a separate club access to join as those are owned by the Longboat Key Club. There is also the ability to join the Bay Isles Private Beach Club for an annual fee which is within a mile of the marina that has private beach access, bathhouse, bike racks, covered picnic areas with grills, volleyball court and ample parking.
This is more affordable than buying that second beach vacation home and have the ability to get out on the open water!

Why are there multiple rates?

Short Term Stays

Short term rates are used for any stays less than 30 days. When booking a short term rental, your booking request will be immediately sent to the listing host. If they approve your request, they will instantly issue an invoice which can be paid on your end to lock in the booking. Long Term Stays & For Sale

Long term stays are considered 30 days or longer. 'For Sale' listings are just that, listings on the market for a new permanent owner. In either case, the listing owner will advertise their requested monthly rate or sale list price. When you request to book or for more information, Dock Skipper connects you to the listing host, informing them of your interest. The listing host then has the ability to follow up with you directly and work out specifics, answer additional questions, and complete payment through whichever means you both agree. Dock Skipper does not act as a facilitator or in between party on long term stays or for sale listings.
